I finally made it here and oh my! What a day is has been. I have been on a bus for the past 19 hours and arrived in Paris around 7. Our bus ride was supposed to be 17 hours, but we were delayed at the train that took us under the Channel. But we made it Paris in the end. After figuring out how to work their tube, which is completely different than the Underground, kinda, we made it to our hostel. My back and neck are killing me. I am so tired, but we went out for dinner and it only cost €14 This is what I had.
Escargot.
And they gave me these weird shell holder things, which I did not use. I didn't understand how to use it, so I didn't I was afraid I would make a fool of myself.
Smoked Salmon in Pasta. I know not a normal French food, but I love pasta so yeah. It was actually not that bad. The salmon was not as smoked as I thought it would be. (Alaska has spoiled me)
And finally for dessert, Crème Brulle. It was amazing and a great way to end a very long and tiring day.
There is not much more to report other than that!!!
