Wow, this was a lot powerful when I saw it in person.
This is the solitary confinement. This was used for both reward and torture. It's odd how people will talk when they are in confinement.
This clock reads 11:07 when the camp was liberated.
This sign tells that no one must go into the neutral zone or they will be shot.
Prisoners would run into this barbed wire to kill themselves.
This is the wash bins where the prisoners would have 45 mins to get ready. Sometimes however, the guards would actually drown the victims. The water was freezing cold and the basins work as a fountain.
There was a fire here where people tries to deny that the holocaust ever happened.
These were the pits where they shot people.
They also led to the gas chambers.
This memorial is for the victims. It was extremely moving and I wish I could put it in words. I really wish I had the words to say what I need to say.
Here are the ruins where they used to have the crematorium. Wow. I seriously wish I had the words to say what needs to be said, but for once I am at a loss for words.
I am sorry this is short and if you need more pictures, they are on my facebook.
After this, we went to the museum and we saw even more moving pictures and I learned so much. It was mentally exhausting after 7+ hours.
For dinner, we didn't realize that it was a happy hour all night and then I got 2 cosmos for the price fo one.
It was amazing and I loved every sip of it.
I must sleep now. Sorry this is so short.
Allons-y
Remi.
