Ireland: Day 2

Today started at 6 am. Or in better terms dark thirty in the morning. Freaking ridiculous. But we bundled up and headed off to the meeting point. It took us 3 hours, but we made it to the Moher cliffs. (Pronounced Moor not Mo-her) My goodness it was just outstanding. An hour is certainly not enough time to take everything in. It was just... wow. The air is so clean and fresh here. The sites were just completely amazing to see.

There is one picture that I absolutely love. I took it and it's just me sitting on the edge of this 700 foot drop, and all you see is the rocks and the water and my legs and shoes. I love this picture so much because, for those of you who don't know, I am terrified of heights. I don't stand on the edge of anything. But today, I did and I sat looking down and you know what? This crazy sense of peace just flooded me. It felt great to just sit there and not be afraid of falling.

So we boarded the bus and headed off to another site. You guys know that scene in Harry Potter where Harry and Hermione are on this camping ground made of just rock? I think this is the scene where Ron leaves, anyways, I swear, it was completely amazing and looked just like where we were. I will figure out the name and add it in tomorrow.

We ended our tour by checking out these super awesome ruins of a church where the grave yard is still used. Then it was back on the bus and back to Dublin.

Tomorrow we're doing the Guinness tour then a walking tour (yay! They are my favorite!!) after that we're off to the Famine Memorial, the Cathedral District, the Garden of Remembrance then the day will end with the Temple Bar.
Allons-y!
Remi
P.S. I know I haven't given you a lot of information but as I have noted previously in other posts, I need to go through the recordings and get it all done.
P.P.S. The internet sucks right now so I will try and upload pictures tomorrow.

*Edit:  I added the photos!! Awesome!*
